WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT VPC? I have known Charles and Claudia for the past
14 years. I met weekly with Charles and other pastors
after arriving in Victoria in 1989. We became and remain trusted friends. Victoria Harvest Church has been called
to join our loving Father in embracing and healing the outcast and
rejected. All of us need
healing, some more than others.
Sometimes we have needed the assistance of someone we trust
to bring the depth of healing necessary to set the captives free. Because of our previous relationship, I trust
Charles and Claudia Dorrington and the staff at Victoria Prayer Counselling
to minister to people in our church.
Their mercy/truth based ministry has been a valuable partner
with the church, bringing healing and freedom to a good number. Based on what I have seen and heard, I strongly
recommend their ministry to assist churches that desire to see the
love and mercy of God bring healing and freedom to those who could
use some trusted help. David Hixson, - Pastor, Victoria Harvest Church WHAT DO OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT
VPC? 1.
“The counselling I received with VPC has restored the freedom
I have in Christ. It has really saved my marriage and my
own self identity. My
only regret is that I didn’t contact them sooner, as it would have
saved six years of strife and unhappiness. 2.
At my first VPC appointment I really didn’t know what to expect. I did not know, however, I needed help.
I was very scared, but immediately the gentle love of God was
poured out through my counsellor, and the Holy Spirit was so present
... I am not the same person today that I was before I started with
VPC. I have given my
whole self to God and live with Him as number one. The Lord has healed lifelong issues and
is continuing to do a good work in me.
I am grateful for this ministry and pray for it daily. Thank you, Lord.” 3.
When we arrived we were unwed parents to a six month old baby
boy. We were struggling with all that we had
become from childhood and beyond. We
had a great love for one another but we could not function without
pain and strife ... After one year of intermittent counselling Charles
baptized me and six months later he joined us together in matrimony
... My sins are not weighing me down now, they are experiences I can
measure my growth from ... I am eternally grateful for what VPC has
sacrificed to give to the people that God has sent them ...” 4. I was 28, a new Christian, and I needed a miracle. Years of childhood trauma had left me with a tormented mind and a heart full of fear and anger. Time and time again, Jesus met me where I was and healed my broken mind and heart using God’s servants at Victoria Prayer Counselling. Today, I have God’s peace. I am so thankful for the dedication, the love and the tears of those who cared for me, and to Jesus for giving me my miracle.”
