Victoria Prayer Counselling

is a safe place

where Christians in need of healing

can come to open their hearts

to Almighty God and receive His healing

through prayer, loving counsel

 and the Word of God.

VPC is a Christian, nondenominational ministry of prayer counselling, primarily for those who have suffered from spiritual, physical and emotional trauma. This ministry is based on the power and working of the Holy Spirit, not solely on the skills of the counsellors. All ministry is grounded firmly on scriptural principles. The counsellors at VPC draw from their personal healing experiences with God. They believe that they have been called by the Lord to pray into the hurts of peoples' lives.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Confidentiality, trust and privacy are important due to the highly personal issues that VPC clients share with their counsellors. Case records are strictly confidential. No outsider, not even a close relative or family doctor, is permitted access to a case record without that client's written permission.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. . ." Isaiah 61:1

HOW DOES VPC OPERATE FINANCIALLY?

The vision for Victoria Prayer Counselling is that of an ongoing resource for the Christian community with a strong team of counsellors who will continue to minister healing and spiritual strength into the lives of God’s people.

VPC clients are requested to pay a reasonable fee for each 1 1/2 hour counselling session. Our cost to conduct each session is approximately $125.00 which is about 50% above the fee suggested to clients. Fees are kept as low as possable to avoid excluding wounded people who would benefit from counselling, but could not afford higher costs. Donations therefore are a critical part of our revenue.

Victoria Prayer Counselling operates as a section of “Seasons Ministry” under a Board of Directors with Rt. Rev. Charles Dorrington as the Executive Director.
